We seek talented researchers who can broaden our group's expertise in exciting new directions in physics, chemistry, biology, engineering, artificial intelligence and other fields. We have significant funding available for high-risk investment into fundamental & applied quantum science. How could we work together to do something new?

Graduate students

We recruit critical & independent thinkers passionate about quantum science & engineering. We are particularly excited about supporting hard-working & talented people targeting a career in scientific research, or who have a high-impact vision to make the world a better place. Singapore offers generous Ph.D. funding, so that our students are financially secure and able to dedicate themselves to becoming the best in the world in the topic of their Ph.D. research. Prospective students should consider applying for the Nanyang President's Graduate Scholarship, offering S$4600/month, and other fellowships. In our group students will have ample opportunities for conferences, summer schools, synchrotron beamtimes and visiting researcher exchanges in the United States, Japan, Germany and around the world.
